Snow Day
I woke this morning to a foot of the heaviest, wettest snow that is possible within the confines of nature. Crappy weather begets snow day, snow day begets brother and sister at home, sister begets blasting of Miley Cyrus. Today’s weather is some of my favorite to drive in, requiring more active maneuvering than one typically applies while on a clear road. Although it freaks most passengers out, I actually get some enjoyment out of the slipping tires (so long as I have some sense of when it is going to happen). Beyond this mornings trip to the supermarket, however, I am going to avoid getting back on the road, mostly because of the risk presented by those who believe that their SUV will be unaffected by the slush.
I spent a part of the morning playing with the code for this new site, figuring out what numbers correspond to what colors. It is incredibly slow, but once I have it all laid out of paper I can go about changing things much faster and with greater accuracy. I have almost no experience in programming or in writing even the most basic of code, so I’m going to have to rely on the foundation of whatever theme I choose. I can make the site look drastically different, but it will still share the primary features set down by the original programmer. Basic looks and features have always been my favorite.
